National Union of Students
The National Union of Students (NUS, representing students from all over the UK, voted strongly in favour of campaigning for an IN vote during their annual 
National Conference. “From free movement to study and learn, to protections for the environment, the EU impacts on all our lives.”

Scientists for EU logoScientists for EU
Campaign run by UK scientists. They say science is vital for the UK’s economy and quality of life and at the heart of the global, social challenges that face us all. “We believe that we can achieve so much more good for the UK and the world from within the EU.”

Representing UK health professionals, carers, patients and researchers. They say the EU allows the UK to pool resources with our closest neighbours to tackle important issues with a direct effect on our wellbeing. “Health threats ignore borders, so we need to build international teams to match.”

Academics for Europe

Academics for Europe
Represents members of the UK’s Higher Education community.  Increasing awareness among the wider public of the benefits and positive impact the UK’s EU membership has in academia, Higher Education and society more broadly. #Yes2EU

Environmentalists for Europe

Environmentalists for Europe
“Britain’s future is stronger, safer and greener in Europe.”  Includes Craig Bennett (Friends of the Earth CEO), Matthew Spencer (Green Alliance Director), Lord Deben (Chair of UK Climate Change Committee), Bill Oddie (writer and comedian), Caroline Lucas (Green MP), Stanley Johnson and others.

An independent coalition of business leaders who want the UK to stay to make positive EU reforms. Their advisory Council includes Chairmen and CEOs of FTSE 100 companies and their Executive consists of experts in foreign and economic policy, including former heads of the UK diplomatic service and senior journalists.

Lawyers-IN for Britain
A group of lawyers who consider that the UK’s interests are best served by remaining in the EU after publishing a detailed report on the UK’s relationship with the EU. “Ultimately, we believe a sensible judgment on EU membership can be made only on the basis of reliable evidence.”

Another Europe is Possible

Another Europe is Possible
“Stay in Europe to change Europe.” Campaign for a radical ‘in’ vote in the EU referendum. Activists and campaigners who want to build a Europe of democracy, human rights, and social justice. They don’t believe a British exit from the EU will achieve this.

British Influence
“EU membership makes us a stronger, more secure, more influential and richer country.”  Think tank that wants to see Britain take a more active role in global affairs and seeks to dispel the myth that Britain has no influence in the EU.

European Movement UKEuropean Movement UK
Working to give a voice to those who believe that Britain’s future is in the EU. “We want to see a full and comprehensive debate in the belief that, presented with the real facts, British people will see our continued membership as crucial to ensure their own future and that of their children and grandchildren.

European Movement ScotlandEuropean Movement Scotland
Scotland’s oldest dedicated pro-European campaigning community. They believe the EU brings a broad range of benefits to Scotland and spend time countering  “the continuous deluge of half-truths and misinformation served up by the Eurosceptic press and political parties”.  The independent Scottish arm of the European Movement UK group.

Irish4Europe Irish4Europe Irish for Europe logo
There are some 465,000 Irish citizens resident in the UK who will be eligible to vote in the referendum. Irish4Europe seeks to ensure they are aware they can vote and what’s at stake in the referendum.

Please note this is not a definitive list of all groups supporting EU membership as many do not have their own dedicated campaign site. For example the CBI, Unite and other major trade unions also support EU membership.
